Dr. Kaushalya Jhuria completed her PhD at the Institute Jean Lamour, University of Lorraine, CNRS Lab, France. During this time, she demonstrated picosecond spin-orbit torque driven magnetization reversal in a ferromagnet using THz radiation. After finishing her PhD, she did her postdoctoral research at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, USA where she worked on quantum information science-related projects. Here in Delhi, she will be working on projects related to quantum communication, sensing, networking and computing using silicon-based quantum emitters (defect centers).
